Nurse Practitioner – Gastroenterology Office and Hospital

Location: Encino, CA

Position Overview:

Our team of 9 providers is expanding and seeking a Nurse Practitioner to bolster our established team. As our patient base grows, we recognize the need for more skilled providers to maintain the high standard of care we offer. The Nurse Practitioner will conduct patient consultations in both hospital and office settings, collaborate with our medical team, and provide weekend hospital coverage on a 1:4 rotational basis. The role offers a hybrid work schedule, splitting time between direct patient care in assigned hospitals and office-based duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Primary consultation with patients both in the hospital and office settings.
• Conduct inpatient consults, ensuring timely and efficient patient care.
• Collaborate closely with our team of medical professionals, all trained to uphold our standards and practices.
• Provide weekend coverage on a 1:4 rotational basis, ensuring consistent patient care.

Work Schedule:

• 4 days a week with a combination of hospital and office duties.
• 1 weekend every 4th weekend.
• Typical week: Assigned to a specific hospital, split time between 4 hours in the hospital and 4 hours in the office. Weekends are less structured, but availability is required until 4 pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

Qualifications:

• Hospital based experience or acute care background are beneficial.
• Prior experience in Gastrointestinal (GI) care is ideal but not mandatory. Experience in a related medical specialty is also helpful.
• We offer training and collaboration in the office while completing hospital credentialing.
• Licensed in California as a Nurse Practitioner

Training & Onboarding:

• While GI experience is a plus, it is not a strict requirement. We are willing to train the right candidate.
• New hires will initially work in the office before transitioning to hospital duties.
• The onboarding process includes credentialing for the role.

Compensation:

• Strong Salary $140,000-$150,000 based on experience.
• Additional compensation at time and a half for hospital call coverage.

Location:

• Our primary office is in Encino, CA. Hospital locations within a 20-minute radius.
• This position offers a unique hybrid role, allowing professionals to split their time between direct patient care in a hospital setting and office-based duties.
