Featured Healthcare Jobs

MedicalRecruiting.com's featured healthcare jobs are physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, and nursing positions hand-selected by our recruiting team for compensation, location, lifestyle, and employer quality. Featured listings represent searches our recruiters are actively prioritizing — usually because the employer has an aggressive timeline, a particularly competitive offer, or a partnership-track or signing-bonus structure that justifies front-page placement. Every featured job is screened in advance by a specialty-aligned recruiter who has spoken with the hiring manager, walked through the practice model, validated the compensation structure, and confirmed the role is genuinely open. That pre-screening means candidates applying to a featured listing skip the noise of expired or recycled job postings that plague most healthcare job boards.

What Makes a Job Featured on MedicalRecruiting.com

Three things qualify a healthcare job for featured placement on MedicalRecruiting.com: an employer working with one of our principal recruiters under an active engagement, a compensation package at or above the relevant MGMA / AMGA / Sullivan Cotter benchmark for the specialty and geography, and a hiring timeline that warrants accelerated candidate flow. Featured jobs are not paid placements and are not promoted to candidates indiscriminately — they exist because we have an active engagement with the employer and the role meets the candidate-quality bar that justifies recruiter outreach.

Most featured listings have a 90-day replacement guarantee built into the engagement: if a placed candidate departs within 90 days, the search is re-run at no additional cost to the employer. That guarantee is also why featured employers tend to be more willing to entertain candidates with strong fundamentals but non-traditional backgrounds (recent international medical graduates with US clinical experience, NPs and PAs transitioning between specialties, physicians returning from extended leave) — the employer's downside risk is structurally limited.

Featured listings rotate frequently. A job typically holds featured placement for 14 to 45 days, depending on time-to-fill in the specialty. Primary care and hospitalist roles in metropolitan markets tend to fill within 14 to 21 days. Subspecialty and rural-market roles run 30 to 90 days. Once a role fills, it is removed from featured placement immediately — every featured job on the site is genuinely open as of the listing date.

How to Apply to a Featured Job

Click the apply button on any featured listing to submit your resume directly to the recruiter handling that search. You will hear back within one business day. The principal recruiter on the search will contact you to walk through the role in detail — practice model, schedule, call coverage, base and bonus structure, signing and relocation, partnership track if applicable, EMR, and any state-specific licensure or visa considerations — and to learn what you are looking for in your next role. From there we coordinate interview scheduling, reference handling, contract review, and start-date logistics.

Every conversation with a MedicalRecruiting.com recruiter is confidential. We never submit your resume to an employer without your explicit consent on a per-employer basis. We do not send your information to third-party job boards, scrapers, or aggregators. If you are exploring opportunities while still employed, your search remains discreet — we will only contact you through channels you specifically authorize.

Candidates pay nothing to use MedicalRecruiting.com. There are no fees, no exclusivity contracts, and no obligation to accept any opportunity our recruiters present. Most candidates who place through us evaluate three to five opportunities before accepting — and several end up in roles we sourced for them later, after they have evaluated their initial slate and refined their criteria.

If You Don't See a Featured Job That Fits

The featured list shows the top 20 to 30 active searches at any time, but our recruiters are working hundreds of additional searches across every specialty in every state. If you don't see a featured role in your specialty or geography, submit a confidential profile directly. A specialty-aligned recruiter will contact you within one business day to discuss what you're looking for and what we have in your search criteria — including searches that have not yet been published publicly. A substantial portion of placements at MedicalRecruiting.com occur through this off-market channel, where employers want a curated slate of candidates before publishing the role broadly.

Browse the full job board at /jobs for every active position across specialties and geographies, or go directly to your specialty division: /physician-recruiters for board-certified physicians across all subspecialties, /nurse-practitioner-recruiters for NPs across all eight population foci, /physician-assistant-recruiters for NCCPA-certified PAs across primary care and surgical specialties, /nursing-recruiters for RNs and travel nurses.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are featured jobs paid placements?

No. Featured listings on MedicalRecruiting.com are not paid placements. Jobs receive featured placement because we have an active engagement with the employer, the compensation meets or exceeds the relevant MGMA / AMGA / Sullivan Cotter benchmark for the specialty and geography, and the employer has a hiring timeline that warrants accelerated candidate flow. Employers cannot purchase featured placement.

How current is the featured jobs list?

Featured listings rotate every 14 to 45 days depending on time-to-fill in the specialty. Once a role is filled or pulled by the employer, it is removed from featured placement immediately. Every featured job is genuinely open as of the listing date — we do not display expired roles to inflate the apparent inventory.

Do candidates pay to apply to featured jobs?

No. Candidates pay nothing to apply to any job on MedicalRecruiting.com — featured or otherwise. There are no membership fees, no application fees, no premium tiers. The recruiting model is funded entirely by the contingency fee paid by the employer when a placed candidate accepts and starts.

What happens after I apply to a featured job?

The principal recruiter handling that search will contact you within one business day to walk through the role and learn what you're looking for. From there we coordinate interview scheduling, reference handling, contract review, signing-bonus and relocation negotiation, and start-date logistics. Every conversation is confidential — we never submit your resume to an employer without your explicit consent on a per-employer basis.
