Job Description
Experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Adult Primary Care: Join a mission-driven community clinic delivering high-quality healthcare to uninsured adults in Leesburg, Virginia. This full-time opportunity offers a $150,000–$155,000 annual base salary, a low-volume appointment schedule, and the chance to focus on patient relationships rather than insurance billing. Work with adult patients who benefit from thoughtful chronic-disease management, preventive care, and help navigating the healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive primary and preventive care and evaluate common acute illnesses.
- Manage chronic conditions, especially diabetes, hypertension, and obesity.
- Develop treatment plans, educate patients, prescribe within Virginia-authorized scope, and coordinate follow-up.
- Document encounters accurately and promptly in Athena EHR.
- Coordinate diagnostic testing, medications, specialist referrals, and other supportive services with the clinical team.
Qualifications
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Virginia.
- At least two years of primary care experience; four or more years strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, comfort managing medically complex adults, and a genuine commitment to underserved patients.
- Athena EHR experience and Spanish-language proficiency are helpful but not required.
Compensation and Benefits
- $150,000–$155,000 annual base salary.

Schedule
- Full-time, salaried; 40 hours per week.
- Schedule arranged around clinic coverage needs.
- Listed clinic coverage hours: Monday–Tuesday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; Wednesday–Thursday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m.
- Exact individual schedule and breaks to be confirmed with the employer.
