Job Description
An outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal specialty practice in Casper, Wyoming is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Work with a sports medicine physician and an established care team in a growing practice.
The position blends scheduled specialty visits with orthopedic walk-in evaluations, including sports injuries, musculoskeletal pain, and other orthopedic concerns. This is a nonsurgical, patient-centered setting with meaningful physician collaboration, longer appointment times, and a weekday schedule without call or hospital rounding. Sports medicine training is available for the right provider with a solid musculoskeletal foundation.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate adults and pediatric patients with musculoskeletal concerns, sports injuries, and orthopedic complaints within the provider's clinical scope.
- Perform patient histories, examinations, follow-up assessments, and diagnostic workups.
- Review imaging and clinical findings with the physician and communicate individualized care recommendations.
- Prepare and coordinate patients for appropriate nonsurgical and minimally invasive treatment pathways.
- Provide exceptional communication, education, and continuity of care for local and traveling patients.
Qualifications
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Wyoming.
- Minimum three years of clinical experience practicing as an NP or PA.
- Prior orthopedics, sports medicine, pain management, or urgent care experience strongly preferred; relevant practice experience will be considered.
- Strong clinical judgment, interpersonal communication, adaptability, and interest in learning specialized approaches to care.
Compensation and Benefits
- Approximately $135,000–$145,000+ annual base salary, dependent on experience and training needs.

Schedule
- Full-time, permanent.
- Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
