We are seeking an autonomous and compassionate clinician with a strong background in geriatric, adult, or family medicine. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing complex chronic conditions and acute changes in condition, thriving in an environment that values collaborative teamwork with facility staff and attending physicians.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide primary care to long-term care residents in skilled nursing facilities

- Assess and manage acute changes in condition; initiate appropriate diagnostic workup and treatment

- Conduct advanced care planning and manage chronic disease conditions

- Prescribe medications including controlled substances in accordance with AR law

- Communicate with nursing home staff and collaborate with attending physicians on care plans

Qualifications

- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in AR (required)

- National board certification (AANP or ANCC)

- Active DEA licensure

- Clinical background in adult, family, or geriatric specialties

- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting preferred

- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
