In this role, you will deliver facility-based Nurse Practitioner care within skilled nursing facilities, serving an elderly patient population residing in long-term care settings. The day-to-day clinical environment involves managing complex wound cases, collaborating with facility staff, and ensuring comprehensive care plans are in place for long-term care residents.

We are seeking an autonomous clinician with a strong background in geriatric, adult, or family specialties. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing complex chronic conditions, particularly those related to wound care, and thrives as a collaborative team player within an interdisciplinary healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide wound care to long-term care residents in skilled nursing facilities

- Assess and manage acute changes in condition; initiate appropriate diagnostic workup and treatment

- Conduct advanced care planning and manage chronic disease conditions

- Prescribe medications including controlled substances in accordance with AR law

- Communicate with nursing home staff and collaborate with attending physicians on care plans

Qualifications

- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in AR (required)

- National board certification (AANP or ANCC)

- Active DEA licensure

- Clinical background in adult, family, or geriatric specialties

- Wound assessment, NPIAP staging, advanced wound products, wound vac experience, wound certification preferred

- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting preferred

- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
