This position focuses on delivering comprehensive NP care within skilled nursing facilities. You will be an integral part of a healthcare team, serving a vulnerable patient population of elderly and long-term care residents. The day-to-day clinical environment involves direct patient interaction, collaborating with facility staff, and managing complex wound care needs in a structured setting.

We are seeking an autonomous and compassionate clinician with a background in geriatric, adult, or family specialties. Key Responsibilities

- Provide wound care to long-term care residents in skilled nursing facilities

- Assess and manage acute changes in condition; initiate appropriate diagnostic workup and treatment

- Conduct advanced care planning and manage chronic disease conditions

- Prescribe medications including controlled substances in accordance with Arkansas law

- Communicate with nursing home staff and collaborate with attending physicians on care plans

Qualifications

- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas (required)

- National board certification (AANP or ANCC)

- Active DEA licensure

- Clinical background in adult, family, or geriatric specialties

- Experience with wound assessment, NPIAP staging, advanced wound products, and wound vac experience; wound certification preferred

- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting preferred

- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
