Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for a unique women’s health leadership opportunity in the North Atlanta area. This position combines hands-on patient care with clinical leadership and offers a flexible 30–40-hour workweek with no weekends. Providers typically spend approximately 45 minutes with each patient and see around 6–9 patients per day.
The Nurse Practitioner Director will provide direct patient care while leading a small nursing team and overseeing clinical quality, compliance, scheduling, and medical operations.
The employer is an established, faith-based non-profit providing pregnancy and sexual-health services, including pregnancy testing, STI testing, limited ultrasound, patient education, and related women’s health services. This is a lower-volume, relationship-focused environment that gives providers more time with each patient.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct women’s health, gynecology, and sexual-health services
- Lead and support a clinical team of approximately 3–4 Registered Nurses
- Oversee medical services, chart reviews, clinical outcomes, and documentation standards
- Supervise nursing staff scheduling, training, credentialing, and licensure requirements
- Assist with the development of medical services, clinical policies, procedures, and standing orders
- Oversee clinical operations, including AdvancedMD, reporting, equipment, and inventory
- Collaborate with social services and other patient-support teams
- Divide the weekly schedule between outpatient locations in Roswell and Decatur
Qualifications
- Active Georgia Nurse Practitioner license
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) certification
- Women’s health experience preferred
- Strong clinical leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and one-on-one communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Previous AAAHC accreditation experience is not required; training will be provided
Compensation & Benefits
- **$68–$75+ per hour**, based on experience

Schedule
- Flexible 30–40 hours per week
- No weekends
- Typical clinic hours: 9:30 AM–5:30 PM
- One 11:00 AM–7:00 PM shift per week
- Friday schedule: 8:30 AM–3:00 PM
- Approximately one day per week may include administrative and clinical leadership responsibilities
Location
The position is based in Sandy Springs, Georgia, with the weekly schedule divided between outpatient locations in Roswell and Decatur in the North Atlanta area.
