Job Description
Rheumatology Nurse Practitioner opportunity in an established specialty healthcare setting in Latham, New York. We are seeking an NP with direct experience caring for rheumatology patients who can support continuity of specialty treatment and medication management. The anticipated full-time schedule features four patient-care days and one dedicated administrative day each week.
Job Type
Full-time preferred. On-site specialty care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and follow patients receiving rheumatology care.
- Manage follow-up needs and prescription renewals within clinical scope and applicable practice requirements.
- Coordinate specialty treatment and ongoing patient care.
- Maintain a patient-safety-focused approach to specialty practice.
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner with an active New York State license, able to begin promptly.
- Direct hands-on rheumatology practice experience required.
- General primary care, urgent care or orthopedic experience without rheumatology experience does not meet the employer's requirement.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary: $145,000–$165,000, with potential for more based on experience.

Schedule
- Anticipated Monday–Friday, approximately 8 AM–5 PM.

Latham, NY 12110. This is an on-site specialty care opportunity in New York's Capital Region.
